APPLICATION IS NOW CLOSED.  WE AWARDED THIRTEEN $1800.00 SCHOLARSHIPS THIS YEAR. PLEASE LOOK BACK AGAIN IN DECEMBER 2026 FOR THE 2027 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a full-time (12 hours) student in the previous and current semester (Seniors may qualify for exemptions).
• Must attend Texas A&M University Galveston, McAllen, or College Station.
• Must have completed and earned at least 30 credit hours of TAMU coursework from the CSTAT, McAllen, or Galveston campus.
• Must have graduated from an RGV high school (private, public, stem, charter, home school, etc.) in the Rio Grande Valley, 956 area code, and zip code 785xx.
• Must submit a complete application by the deadline.
• Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• May NOT have previously received this scholarship

Funds will be paid out during the fall semester through the TAMU Scholarship portal in one lump sum.
